All-India Kyokai Championship 2026
Over 300 karateka from 12 states came together for two days of kata and kumite across two dojos.
The All-India Kyokai Championship 2026 ran over two days in Mumbai, with kata and kumite divisions split across two dojos. Competitors came from every IKAD-affiliated state league — from first-time entrants in the junior brackets through senior black-belt finalists.
The senior kumite final drew the biggest crowd of the weekend. Earlier in the day, a group of senior instructors demonstrated Bassai-Dai as a reminder of what the scoring is ultimately measuring: clean technique, intent, and timing.
